IGFR Pinehurst

Hosted by the Rotarians of District 7690, this week-long event is filled with fellowship, fun, golf
and adventure.

For golfers, the week begins with a Partners 4 ball competition on Monday. Tournament rounds
will be played on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. And there will be ample daylight and tee times
for those who want to play more than 18 holes per day.

For non-golfers, there is no pressure to do anything but enjoy the ambience of the Carolina,
Pinehurst Resort’s grand hotel, The Spa at Pinehurst, the historic Village of Pinehurst or other
area attractions.

Social activities will begin with a welcome reception and dinner on Sunday evening and
conclude with a gala awards banquet at week’s end. In between, there will be ample
opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones at luncheons, a Rotary meeting, home
hospitality and informal gatherings throughout the resort.

Wednesday, August 24
A rest day for all.
A further round of golf can be made available with prior booking
International Day at Carolina Exhibition Hall
The evening will be at leisure. Enjoy dining in the ambience of The Carolina or take in one of the fine,
locally-owned restaurants nearby, many within walking distance from the resort.
